We are foodies at the Green House and hope to provide you the best food in the Alentejo.
Our breakfasts are a variation of our Condé Nast Award Winning breakfast that we serve at our sister hotel, the Santiago de Alfama – Boutique Hotel.
Try the Mediterranean Eggs – sauteed spinach; portobello mushrooms; poached eggs on farmhouse bread finished with a yogurt sauce and warm chili butter, the Green House English or just some lovely fresh fruit and a freshly baked pastry.
Every evening we start drinks at 7.30 pm to catch the sunset – join us on a large club table or your own table for dinner with the Chef. The menu will vary daily according to the best produce available on the day.
Our wine list has been curated by one of Portugal’s up and coming wine makers – Mariana Salvador and has a wonderful mix of Alentejo wines and wines from special vineyards in Portugal, notwithstanding the obligatory Champagne and Italian red.
Our Bed and Breakfast rate includes accommodation and breakfast. Our Half Board rate includes accommodation, snacks by the pool at 4.30 pm and dinner – wine and spirits not included.
